Many of the projects I worked on at Pilbrow & Partners involved combining multiple techniques. 3D prints were often sprayed and combined with metal etchings and lasercut acrylic or wood veneer. The blue facade in the first image was a resin print fixed using Magics that was then sprayed and lacquered to give the appearance of terracotta tiles. Other models such as the small warehouse was printed using a Projet 660 powder printer. This was then sprayed and a brass ettching was inserted into the model. Often small details such as staircases and furniture would also be printed and sprayed. These all involved fixing models in Microstation before finally taking it into Magics in order to be printed.

Star wars concept model 'Tatooine city'
This was another personal piece I made whilst at University. The piece is a concept model based on artwork taken from the book, "The Art of Star Wars: The phantom Menace".
The model was mostly made from Chemiwood blocks which were turned on a lathe to create the towers and domes.
